The weather is finally nice! We had to take advantage after work by having a picnic in our favorite place, Astoria Park.
Tom and I made sandwiches and bought some potato salad to bring on our little adventure. For Easter Tom’s family gave us a big round towel to use when we go to the park so we busted that out for the first time.
It was so wonderful just sitting outside and relaxing. We got to people watch and enjoy the view of our bridge. Something so simple as having dinner in the park can change the mood of your whole week. It just made it a little bit special.
After dinner, we got ice cream from one of the trucks down by the water. The park really is one of the best places in Astoria. Just a quick walk and we are in our own special place.
