This post will be going live Christmas day so Merry Christmas everyone!

Our wedding day was November 3rd, 2018. We held it at Cove Castle in Greenwood Lake, NY. It was a very sunny, but very cold day. The lake and the fall trees looked absolutely stunning as the sunlight reflected off of them.

Tom and I had our first look out on a dock and kept it a closed “set” because we wanted that moment to be intimate and private. Not to mention we were both super nervous. It did feel a bit odd because the restaurant was open and guests were watching us (we didn’t know random people would be there).

You can see touches of our brewery theme in these pictures. Our flowers featured grains and hops.

The moment was quick but lovely. We were able to laugh and calm each other’s nerves while our awesome photographer captured the moment.

We didn’t have the venue for very long so we decided to do photographs before the ceremony so we could truly enjoy our day. We captured some very special moments with family and friends.

It was then on to the ceremony. My bridesmaids walked down the aisle to Tale as Old as Time from Beauty and the Beast. Our friend Peter acted as DJ for us. He crushed it!

My Dad and I nervously walked down the aisle to When you Wish Upon a Star. I had to continue with the subtle Disney touches. Most fathers and daughters would whisper sweet things to each other during this moment, but for us, it was Diarrhea so we could keep the mood as light as possible. It’s gross, but it’s very us and it worked.

We had family and friends do readings from the Bible and from The Office (Jim explaining love to Dwight). Our amazing pastor said a beautiful and thoughtful homily.
We attempted to light a candle while All I Ask of You from Phantom of the Opera played, but it was too windy and the candle blew out right away. We all laughed in that moment.

Tom and I exchanged traditional vows and our rings. We wanted to keep this part simple as we became Husband and Wife. Later that evening we read personal vows to each other in private.

As quickly as the ceremony began it was done with a kiss. We were announced as husband and wife as we walked back down the aisle to All You Need is Love by the Beatles. It was the most incredible moment of our lives.
