Welcome to our moving post. Here are some highlights according to my cellphone!
The Day Before!

We took the Friday before moving off to finish up packing and clean the apartment. It was a long hard day and to say goodbye we went to the King of Falafel & Shawarma truck on Ditmars. We got the Teaser because we had to say goodbye with all the meats! You get enough food for 4 meals! This is also the most bang for your bucks, but only at the truck. The prices at the store are more. We then loaded up the car and went to Bridgewater for the night.
Moving Day!
We were early to rise on our moving day heading first to Wawa for coffee and muffins then to pickup our Uhal.

We were so lucky Steph and Peter offered to help us unload our apartment and load up the truck. They’re the best! Definitely find yourself friends like them because they will be around for a lifetime, but you can’t have them because they are mine. Just find people like them!

Truck loaded up and bed bug exposure avoided (found out the building had them as we were moving stuff out.. awesome…) we were all on our way to Bridgewater.

After unloading the truck we ordered a pizza from Russo’s to give us the energy we would need to assemble furniture and unpack.

You’ll find out more about Russo’s in an upcoming post all about the Pizza we have tried so far in the area. Spoiler alert.. it’s good!
The Next Day!
We were fearful of the bed bugs, but we had to go back to the apartment the next day for one final cleaning. Since we were breaking our lease we wanted to make sure everything was as perfect as possible.

On our way back home to NJ we decided to stop at Salad House in Somerville for lunch. This is the perfect lunch spot! They have so many different flavorful salad options that have healthy ingredients, but won’t feel like you are eating rabbit food.
Tom ordered the fit and fueled salad; romaine, grilled chicken, cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, red onions, quinoa, feta with the house made champagne vinaigrette. I ordered the Vegano; portobello mushroom, house-roasted peppers, spinach, vegan mozzarella, and balsamic vinaigrette.

Tom really enjoyed his salad and found it very filling. I need to take a moment to talk about the house-roasted red peppers. These things are killer! They are incredible and the seasoning on them fantastic! Definitely checkout Salad House if you want a healthy lunch.
Everything is always about the food! I eat through you two! Enjoy your new home and your new eateries!
