Philly Part 2 took us to The Love for a romantic dinner, a vintage record shop, and the Philadelphia Christmas Village.

For my dinner at The Love I choose two appetizers. I started with the warm Savory Pumpkin Soup with cider gastrique, orange creme, and wheat crumble. I then moved on to the savory Chicken Liver Mousse with candied kumquats, rosemary, cranberry and sourdough crisps. I washed it all down with local Christmas brew. Everything knocked my socks off.

Tom started with a Manhattan and ordered his favorite seafood for dinner. The Seared Scallops came with stir fried veggies, soy beurre Blanc, and forbidden rice crisps. It was really tasty.

We wish we could remember the name of the vintage record store. It was somewhere in Ritten House Square.

We then stopped by the Christmas village to pickup a Philly ornament since we forgot to get one on our first trip 5 years ago.

Philly is a great place for a last minute day trip. We had an awesome time!

We got photobombed in that last pic lol.
