Back when we first moved to Astoria (2016) a restaurant called @sacsplace started following my personal Instagram account. So I followed them back. They kept posting pictures of their classic pizza topped with pepperoni and house pickled jalapeños. It was drool worthy. We decided to order it and even though we were not in their delivery zone they decided to delivery it because it was my birthday and I told them all I wanted was to try their pizza. It was love at first bite.
Since then I’ve had to stop eating spicy food and they’ve moved locations but we still have a love their pizza. It’s some of the best around! It makes for a great pizza and wine Friday night.
This family run business has been around for a long time and they serve more than pizza so please go support them. They make incredible food and the staff is always warm and friendly.
