Support Local: 30 Burger

So this post is a long time coming. We decided to get takeout and support the new 30 Burger in Somerville the day they opened back in I want to say May. Cheeseburgers have been some what of a pregnancy craving so this felt like the perfect night in for us.

The place is as described they have 30 burgers to choose from among other things like hot dogs, sandwiches, and paninis. We obviously stuck with burgers, fries, and onion rings for our order.

To truly judge a place by it’s burger you have to go classic, but this time around I was all about that bison meat! I love a good bison burger especially when you get a little gamey taste from the meat. So I ordered the Chipotle Bison Burger, natural raised buffalo meat marinated in chipotle seasoning, topped with crispy onion straws, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, & mayo on a fresh baked deli bun.

Bitting into this burger was a little piece of happiness on this day in May. It was juicy, flavorful, and had that touch of game I was hoping for.

Tom went beef with his burger selection opting for the A-1 Bleu Burger. This meaty sandwich comes with Bleu cheese crumbles, A-1 steak sauce, crispy onion straws, lettuce, tomato & chipotle mayo on a Miami onion bun.. Even with all it’s toppings it wasn’t over the top in flavor. Tom really enjoyed the steak sauce paired with the onion bun.

You also can’t have a meal like this without rings and fries so that’s what we got! They were salty and crispy. That flavor and texture combo is truly all you need with some good rings and fries, but to top ours off we got a side of chipotle mayo for dipping!

All in all we really enjoyed this meal. It hit the spot and we’ll definitely get takeout from here again. Sorry it took us so long to post about it. It’s still timely, they are still open so definitely get yourself a burger.
