We have reached the end of our support local series for now. We’ve had countless nights of amazing takeout from restaurants all over our area and while we will continue supporting them we are hoping for more nights out and fun family adventures. If we get seriously locked down again then we will definitely bring this series back full time.
Our last post goes out to The Landing in Hillsborough. We love this place! They have an awesome farmhouse feel and serve up incredible local brews. They also do a killer takeout with their tasty. casual fare.
We ordered takeout from here back in June. The weather that night was perfect for dinning on our back deck and feeling like we were out on a date.
I ordered the Avocado BLT. This awesome sandwich has hass avocado, bacon, iceberg lettuce, tomato, multi-grain bread, jalapeño ranch. The avocado is so creamy and it balances so well with the smokey crispy bacon. This is definitely something I would order again.
Tom got The Landing burger. This burger is signature for a reason! It features bourbon bacon jam, cheddar, chipotle aioli. When it comes to my husband you literally cannot go wrong with bourbon and bacon so this really hit the spot. That bacon ram is sweet, salty, and smokey truly hitting all the bells and whistles.
This date night in was perfect! We loved our food and our time outside together. We cannot wait to go out to eat at The Landing soon enjoying their socially distant outdoor dining.
